This weeks podcast looks at the Language of Propaganda and the techniques used in UK media. Propaganda is thedissemination of information – whether that be, facts, arguments, rumours, half-truths or lies - with the aim to influence public opinion. UK tabloid media, is now globally known for leading the way in the dissemination of information in this way, and is the medium of choice for the UK Royal Family. I will give illustrations of how it has manifested over the last 5 years and how it has weakened the Monarchy itself. The reality is a hole was dug hoping the Sussexes would fall in, and be out of sight, but one by one, those who helped with the digging, have been falling in themselves, and the rest are balancing on the edge.
